Tomorrow sees a new Chapter in the adventure with a trip to Taiwan planned. I’m giving a series of talks across the three main Cities on this Island and hope to learn something of the culture of the Taiwanese in the process. Hopefully, it will be an exchange of information, with my learning as much as I teach. Just hope that their English is better than my Mandarin (won’t be hard!).

This proved to be an amazing trip and I was very well supported by my friends John Chang, Gerry, Jo and Mark who guided me around their beautiful country. I spent two days in each of the three major cities - Taipei, Tainan and Taichung- and spoke at Conferences there one the first day while then visiting Hospitals to advise on clinical care and teach on management approaches on the second day in each city.

I was taken to visit and climb mountains, and to cycle around the Sun Moon Lake which were both beautiful. I hope to have the chance to return in due course…..
