Our pupils lining up to greet me as I arrived to meet them for the first time
Feature 1
I arrived at our new Academy to a great welcome, with all our pupils dressed in their best coming out to meet me on the access road. Their welcome was incredible and I was deeply moved, shaking hands with every one of them and their teachers.

The following day we held the official opening of the Academy of Hope, with all the pupils, their parents, teachers and local guests. The event went on all day with speeches,singing and dancing, stopping only for a feast in the early afternoon.

The mothers and teachers did a wonderful job cooking for so many on such a limited budget and with such basic equipment. Everyone was thrilled with the way the day went and the promises made to expand further
